On the October bank holiday Monday every year since,

Other neighbours and friends bring along their threshing mills and other farm machinery, so they can transport all who attend this fund raising day on a special trip down memory lane.
The field day is one thing, but the goings on in the barn that night is something different as Big Tom (Irish Country Star) joins a host of local artists as they sing, tell stories and dance at Shannon’s Harvest Ball.
