6th Kevin Sherry Memorial Run
The 6th Annual Kevin Sherry Vintage Car Run
takes us through three counties, Monaghan,
Armagh and Tyrone..
On leaving Monaghan the convoy heads for Clontibret before crossing
the border at Derrynoose en route to Keady.Taking a left in Keady the enthusiasts
pass by the impressive Tassagh Viaduct with its 11 arch's. Passing through the Cathedral
City of Armagh, these beautiful machines and their owners take a well earned break
in the Tyrone village of Moy.
After some refreshments, it’s back on the road again through the scenic Blackwatertown,
meandering their way through the countryside on to thehistoric village of Benburb,
passed the old mills at Dyan and through the quaint town of Caledon before crossing
the border back into Co. Monaghan.
The picturesque village of Glaslough provided another stop to allow everyone to bunch
up before returning to The Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan Town for a much neededbit
to eat. Following this, the presentations are made before everyone
heads for home
content at their day’s outing.
This recording includes appropriate music and interviews with most of the participants.
